Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the appliance. Fill the water tank with clean water up to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the appliance on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and heat-sensitive materials. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
4. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the appliance and then plug it into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Filling the Water Tank:

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
2. Open the lid.
3. Fill the water tank with fresh, clean water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line indicated on the water level gauge.
4. Close the lid securely.

Boiling Water:

1. Plug in the appliance. The unit will automatically begin boiling the water.
2. Once boiling is complete, the appliance will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" mode at the default temperature setting.

Setting Temperature and Dispensing:

• Temperature Selection: Press the "TEMP SET" button to cycle through available temperatures: 208°F, 185°F, and 149°F. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
• Reboil: Press the "REBOIL" button to reboil the water to the selected temperature.
• Auto Cool: Press the "AUTO COOL" button to allow the water to cool down to room temperature, saving energy.
• Dispensing Water:
  1. Press the "UNLOCK/LOCK" button. A red LED light will indicate the unit is unlocked.
  2. To dispense, either press the large "DISPENSE" button on the control panel or use the cup trigger located under the spout.
  3. The unit will automatically re-lock after approximately 10 seconds of inactivity.

  

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your appliance.

Daily Cleaning:

• Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
• Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Empty any remaining water from the tank.

Descaling (Auto Clean Function):

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the water tank, especially in areas with hard water. Use the Auto Clean function for descaling.

1. Ensure the appliance is empty and cool.
2. Fill the water tank with a mixture of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) or a commercial descaling solution, up to the MAX line.
3. Close the lid and plug in the appliance.
4. Press the "AUTO CLEAN" button (refer to control panel image for location). Follow the appliance's specific instructions for the auto-clean cycle.
5. After the cycle is complete, discard the cleaning solution.
6. Rinse the interior thoroughly by filling with clean water and dispensing it several times to remove any residual cleaning solution.

Note: The frequency of descaling depends on water hardness and usage. Descale at least once a month for hard water areas, or every 2-3 months for soft water areas.
