Setup and Installation
1. Battery Activation
The device comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery. Before first use, locate the battery compartment on the back of the meter. Remove the insulating sheet to activate the battery. Ensure the battery is correctly seated before closing the compartment.

2. Mounting the Meter
The meter can be mounted using either the provided double-sided tape (stick-on) or screws (screw-on).
- Stick-on Mounting: Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly. Apply the double-sided tape to the back of the meter and firmly press the meter onto the surface.
- Screw-on Mounting: Use the provided bolts, nuts, and washers to secure the meter to a suitable location. Ensure the mounting is stable and does not interfere with engine operation.

3. Engine Signal Pickup (Tachometer)
Connect the signal pickup wire to the spark plug cable. Wrap the signal wire 5-8 times around the spark plug cable. This allows the meter to detect engine RPM.

4. Temperature Sensor Installation
Attach the TS002 probe sensor to the engine nut or another suitable metal surface where temperature measurement is desired. Ensure good contact for accurate readings. The internal dimension of the temp sensor is 14mm.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
The meter automatically powers on when the engine starts or when the insulating sheet is removed from the battery. To turn off the meter, press and hold the 'M' and 'S' buttons simultaneously for approximately 2 seconds until the display shows "OFF".
2. Display Modes
Press the 'M' button to cycle through different display modes:
- Real-time Temperature: Displays the current engine temperature.
- Maximum Temperature: Shows the highest temperature recorded during operation.
- Real-time RPM: Displays the engine's revolutions per minute when the engine is running.
- Total Hours (TOT): Shows the total accumulated operating hours of the engine.
- Partial Hours (JOB): Displays the operating hours for a single working period, which can be reset.
- Service Timer (SVC): Shows the countdown for scheduled maintenance.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Display is blank | Battery not activated or depleted. | Remove insulating sheet from battery or replace battery. |
| Inaccurate RPM reading | Signal wire not wrapped correctly or insufficient turns. | Ensure signal wire is wrapped 5-8 times tightly around the spark plug cable. Adjust RPM accuracy settings if available (refer to detailed manual for specific steps). |
| Inaccurate Temperature reading | Temperature sensor not making good contact or improperly installed. | Check sensor placement and ensure firm contact with the engine surface. |
| Red backlight constantly on | Temperature or RPM alert threshold exceeded, or service interval due. | Check engine conditions (temperature, RPM) or reset the service timer. Adjust alert thresholds if necessary. |
