Setup

Automatic Programs
The RMC-M4515E offers 6 automatic programs for various cooking needs:
- FRY: For frying ingredients.
- PILAF: Specifically designed for cooking pilaf.
- PORRIDGE/GRAIN: Ideal for cooking porridges and various grains.
- BAKE/PIZZA: For baking cakes, bread, or pizzas.
- STEW/DESSERT: Suitable for stewing dishes and preparing desserts.
- STEAM/SOUP: For steaming vegetables, fish, or preparing soups.
General Cooking Steps
- Place the non-stick cooking bowl into the main unit.
- Add your ingredients to the bowl.
- Close the lid securely.
- Plug the multicooker into a power outlet.
- Select the desired automatic program by pressing the corresponding button.
- Adjust the cooking time if necessary using the "COOK TIME" button.
- Press the "START/CANCEL" button to begin cooking.
- Once cooking is complete, the multicooker may automatically switch to the "KEEP WARM" function.
- Press "START/CANCEL" to stop the program or turn off the appliance.
Special Functions
- KEEP WARM: Automatically activates after most programs, keeping food warm for up to 24 hours.
- REHEAT: Allows reheating food for up to 24 hours.
- TIME DELAY: Set a delayed start time for cooking, up to 24 hours.
- ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS: This multicooker supports making fondue, baking bread, making cheese and cottage cheese, preparing baby food, pasteurizing, sterilizing, and food preservation. Refer to specific recipes or the REDMOND recipe book for detailed instructions on these functions.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your multicooker.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Cooking Bowl: Wash the non-stick cooking bowl with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as this can damage the non-stick coating. The bowl is not dishwasher safe.
- Steam Valve: Remove the steam valve and wash it under running water. Ensure it is clear of any food residue.
- Lid and Interior: Wipe the inside of the lid and the interior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Ensure no water enters the electrical components.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the multicooker with a soft, damp cloth.
- Storage: Store the multicooker in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, once it is clean and dry.
