Safety Information
- Always keep the override keys in a secure location, separate from the safe. Do not store them inside the safe.
- Ensure the safe is securely mounted to a wall or floor to prevent unauthorized removal.
- Do not expose the safe to extreme temperatures or humidity.
- Keep the keypad clean and dry. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
- Do not attempt to force the safe open if the digital lock malfunctions. Use the override keys.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
The digital lock requires two AA batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door, typically behind a cover. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2. Initial Opening and Code Setting
Upon first use, the safe can be opened using the override keys. Insert one of the override keys into the keyhole located on the digital keypad and turn it while simultaneously turning the knob to open the door. Once open, you can set your personal numeric code.
- With the door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the safe door, near the hinge. You will hear a beep.
- Within 5 seconds, enter your desired 3-8 digit code on the keypad, then press the "START" button.
- The safe will beep to confirm the new code has been set.
- Test the new code with the door open before closing it.

3. Mounting the Safe
For enhanced security, it is highly recommended to mount the safe to a wall, floor, or shelf using the provided mounting bolts. The safe features pre-drilled holes on the back and bottom for this purpose.

- Choose a suitable location for mounting.
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the safe.
- Drill pilot holes in the wall/floor/shelf.
- Align the safe with the drilled holes and secure it using the four mounting bolts.
Operating Instructions
Opening the Safe with Digital Code
- Enter your 3-8 digit personal code on the keypad.
- Press the "START" button.
- If the code is correct, the digital display will show "OPEN" and you will hear a beep. Turn the knob clockwise within 5 seconds to open the door.
Opening the Safe with Override Key
In case of forgotten code or battery depletion, the safe can be opened using the override key.
- Remove the small cover on the digital keypad to reveal the keyhole.
- Insert the override key and turn it counter-clockwise.
- While holding the key turned, rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
Closing and Locking the Safe
Close the safe door and turn the knob counter-clockwise until it is fully locked. The digital display will show "LOCKED".
Digital Display Indicators
- "OPEN": Safe is unlocked and ready to be opened.
- "LOCKED": Safe is securely locked.
- "LO-BAT": Batteries are low and need replacement.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
When the "LO-BAT" indicator appears on the digital display, or if the keypad becomes unresponsive, replace the batteries immediately. Use two new AA alkaline batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the finish or the keypad.
