1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your LG G5 H830 T-Mobile smartphone. 2. Setup

2.1. Battery and SIM/SD Card Installation

The LG G5 features a unique modular design that allows for easy battery replacement and access to the SIM and microSD card slots.

  1. Remove the Bottom Module: Locate the small button on the lower left side of the phone. Press and hold this button while gently pulling the bottom chin of the phone away from the main body. The battery is attached to this module.
  2. Insert Battery: If the battery is not already attached to the module, align the battery with the connectors on the module and firmly push it into place.
  3. Insert SIM/microSD Card: With the bottom module removed, you will see the SIM and microSD card slots on the side of the main phone body. Insert your Nano-SIM card and/or microSD card (up to 256 GB) into their respective slots. Ensure they are correctly oriented.
  4. Reattach Module: Align the bottom module with the main body of the phone and slide it back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2. Initial Power On and Setup Wizard

Press and hold the Power/Lock button (located on the back of the phone, integrated with the fingerprint sensor) until the LG logo appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, Google account setup, and security settings.

3. Operating Your LG G5

3.1. Display and Navigation
