Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective film.

Operating Instructions
- Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with clean, potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
- Power On: Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker.
- Select Ice Size: Press the SELECT button to choose between small (S) or large (L) ice cube sizes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
- Ice Production: The ice maker will begin its cycle. The first batch of ice will typically be ready in as little as 7 minutes, depending on the selected size and ambient temperature.
- Monitor Indicators: The digital control panel features indicator lights: ADD WATER will illuminate when the water reservoir needs refilling, and ICE FULL will illuminate when the ice basket is full.
- Collect Ice: Once ice is produced, use the provided scoop to remove ice from the basket. Note that this unit is an ice maker, not an ice storage freezer. Ice will melt if left in the basket and the melted water will return to the reservoir for re-freezing. For long-term storage, transfer ice to a freezer-safe bag or container and place it in a freezer.
- Continuous Operation: To continue making ice, ensure the water reservoir is filled and the ice basket is not full. The machine will automatically resume production once these conditions are met.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygienic operation of your ice maker.
Daily/Weekly Cleaning:
- Drain Water: Unplug the unit. Locate the water drain cap at the bottom of the unit. Place the ice maker over a sink or use a container to catch the water, then remove the cap to drain all water from the reservoir.
- Wipe Down: Use a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a mild detergent to wipe the interior and exterior surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Ice Basket: Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before placing it back in the unit. Note: The ice basket is not dishwasher safe and may deform.
Monthly Deep Cleaning:
For thorough cleaning and to prevent mineral buildup or mold, perform a deep clean monthly, especially if using tap water.
- Prepare Cleaning Solution: Mix a solution of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water) or a mild, food-safe descaling agent.
- Clean Internal Components: Pour the cleaning solution into the water reservoir. Allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Run Cleaning Cycle (Optional): If your model has a cleaning function, activate it. Otherwise, run a few ice-making cycles with the cleaning solution (do not consume this ice). This helps circulate the solution through the system.
- Drain and Rinse: Drain the cleaning solution completely. Rinse the reservoir and internal components multiple times with fresh, clean water to remove any residue. Run several cycles with fresh water and discard the first few batches of ice to ensure no cleaning solution remains.
- Hard-to-Reach Areas: Pay special attention to areas where ice forms, such as the metal fingers and the water trough. A small brush (like a bottle brush or soft toothbrush) may be helpful for these areas.
Water Quality:
Using distilled or quality bottled water is highly recommended to minimize mineral buildup and reduce the frequency of deep cleaning, contributing to the longevity of the unit.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ice maker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Ice maker not producing ice. | No water in reservoir; unit not plugged in; ambient temperature too high. | Fill water reservoir; ensure unit is plugged in; move unit to a cooler location. |
| "ADD WATER" indicator is on. | Water level is too low. | Add water to the reservoir up to the MAX fill line. |
| "ICE FULL" indicator is on, but basket is not full. | Ice sensor is blocked or dirty; ice is jammed. | Clean the ice sensor; remove any jammed ice. |
| Ice cubes are small or misshapen. | Water temperature too high; ambient temperature too high; mineral buildup. | Use colder water; ensure proper ventilation; perform deep cleaning. |
| Unit is noisy. | Normal operation sounds (compressor, water pump); unit not level. | Ensure unit is on a level surface. If noise is excessive or unusual, contact customer support. |
