2. Safety Information

5. Setup

1. Identify Battery Type: Determine if your battery is AGM/Flooded, GEL, or Lithium (LiFePO4).
2. Select Battery Type and Voltage: With the charger unplugged from AC power, use the 'SELECT' buttons on the charger to choose the correct voltage (12V or 6V) and battery type (AGM/Flooded or Lithium). Wait a few seconds after making selections.
3. Connect to Battery:
   • For permanent connection, use the ring terminals. Connect the red ring terminal to the positive (+) battery post and the black ring terminal to the negative (-) battery post.
   • For temporary connection, use the alligator clips. Connect the red clip to the positive (+) battery post and the black clip to the negative (-) battery post.
