Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the HCDZ Replacement Remote Control, designed for use with various Epson 3LCD Projector models, including EMP-1710, EMP-1715, H550B, H551B, and H552B. This remote is an infrared (IR) replacement unit and requires no programming. Simply insert batteries, and it is ready for use.
Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or press the latch to open it.
- Insert two (2) AA alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.

Once batteries are correctly installed, the remote control is ready for immediate use with compatible Epson projectors. No additional programming or setup is required.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
To operate your projector, point the HCDZ Replacement Remote Control directly at the projector's infrared sensor. Press the desired function button (e.g., Power, Menu, Volume, Input Select) to control the projector. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the projector's sensor.

Maintenance
