4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the hot air generator and all accessories from the packaging. Check for any damage.
- Positioning: Place the generator on a stable, level, non-flammable surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure adequate clearance from walls and flammable materials.
- Gas Cylinder Connection:
- Ensure the gas cylinder valve is closed.
- Connect the supplied pressure regulator to a standard 5 kg or 11 kg propane/butane gas cylinder.
- Attach the gas hose from the pressure regulator to the gas inlet on the hot air generator. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
- Perform a leak test on all gas connections using soapy water. Bubbles indicate a leak. Do not proceed if a leak is detected.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to a suitable electrical outlet (refer to specifications for voltage requirements).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Starting the Generator
- Ensure all setup steps are completed and safety precautions are observed.
- Open the valve on the gas cylinder.
- Press and hold the gas valve button on the generator.
- While holding the gas valve button, press the ignition button (piezo ignition) repeatedly until the flame ignites. You should hear a clicking sound and see the flame.
- Continue to hold the gas valve button for a few seconds after ignition to allow the flame protection device to engage.
- Release the gas valve button. The flame should remain lit.
- Switch the fan on using the integrated fan switch. The fan will start circulating hot air.
5.2 Shutting Down the Generator
- Close the valve on the gas cylinder first. This allows any remaining gas in the hose to burn off.
- Once the flame extinguishes, switch off the fan using the integrated fan switch.
- Disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet.
- Allow the unit to cool down completely before moving or storing.
