Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the scale.
- Use the provided small screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one CR2032 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-). If an insulation tab is present, remove it before inserting the battery.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Power On
Press the power button (UNIT/ON/OFF) to turn on the scale. The display will show "8888" and then "0.00" or "0.0" indicating it is ready for use.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- To turn on: Press the UNIT/ON/OFF button.
- To turn off: Press and hold the UNIT/ON/OFF button for 3 seconds, or the scale will automatically turn off after 60 seconds of inactivity (Auto-Off feature).
2. Unit Conversion (Weight & Temperature)
- While the scale is on and displaying "0.00", press the UNIT/ON/OFF button repeatedly to cycle through weight units: kg (kilograms) and lb (pounds).
- To switch temperature units between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), press and hold the UNIT/ON/OFF button for 3 seconds while the scale is on and not weighing. The temperature will be displayed briefly.
3. Weighing Procedure
- Attach the scale's strap to the handle of your luggage or item. Ensure the item is securely fastened.
- Lift the scale and the attached item smoothly. Hold the scale horizontally and steadily.
- Wait for the display to stabilize. The reading will flash three times and then lock, indicated by an "H" symbol on the screen. This is the weight of your item.
- Lower the scale and item. The weight will remain displayed for a few seconds before resetting to zero or turning off.

4. Tare Function
The tare function allows you to weigh items in a container without including the container's weight. To use:
- Turn on the scale.
- Attach the empty container to the scale's strap and lift it.
- Once the weight of the container is displayed, press the UNIT/ON/OFF button briefly. The display will reset to "0.00".
- Place the items you wish to weigh into the container.
- Lift the scale and container again. The display will show only the net weight of the items.
5. Temperature Measurement
The scale can display the ambient temperature. To view the temperature, ensure the scale is on and not actively weighing. Briefly press the UNIT/ON/OFF button to cycle through weight units. The temperature will appear briefly after the weight unit selection. To change between °C and °F, press and hold the UNIT/ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
2. Battery Replacement
When the display shows "Lo", it indicates a low battery. Replace the CR2032 battery as described in the Setup section.
3. Storage
Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. If storing for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
