4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment

To power on the radio, rotate the Power Knob clockwise until you hear a click. Continue rotating to increase the volume. To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks off.

5.2. Channel Selection

The LUITON LT-316 features 16 channels. Use the UP and DOWN keys on the side of the radio to cycle through the available channels. Ensure both radios are on the same channel for communication.

5.3. Transmitting and Receiving (PTT)

  1. To transmit, press and hold the PTT key. Speak clearly into the microphone, located near the PTT key.
  2. Release the PTT key to stop transmitting and return to receive mode.
  3. When receiving a transmission, the radio will automatically output the audio.

5.4. Scanning Function

The radio supports a scanning function to monitor all active channels. Refer to the specific instructions in the included user manual for activating and managing the scanning feature.

5.5. Using the Belt Clip

Attach the provided belt clip to the back of the radio for convenient carrying. Slide the radio into the clip until it locks securely.
