1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

- ATEX Certification: This lamp is ATEX certified for Zone 0 (II 1G Ex ia IIC T4 & Ex ia IIC T4 Ga), meaning it is approved for use in areas where explosive gas atmospheres are present continuously or for long periods. Always ensure the lamp's certification matches the requirements of your operating environment.
- Battery Safety: Use only specified AA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Do not expose batteries to excessive heat or fire. Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Environmental Conditions: The lamp is IP68 rated and waterproof up to 3 meters. However, avoid prolonged submersion beyond specified limits. Do not operate the lamp if it appears damaged.
- Maintenance: Any maintenance or repair should only be performed by qualified personnel. Unauthorized modifications can compromise safety and void the ATEX certification.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Ensure the lamp is turned off.
- Unscrew the rear cap of the lamp by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert four (4) AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Carefully screw the rear cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure the O-ring seal is properly seated to maintain the lamp's waterproof integrity.

5. Operating Instructions
The KS-8810 features a wear-free magnetic on/off switch and offers three distinct light modes.
5.1 Turning On/Off and Changing Modes
- To Turn On: Press the magnetic switch located on the side of the lamp. The lamp will activate in the default Strong Light mode.
- To Change Light Modes: Briefly press the magnetic switch again to cycle through the available modes: Strong Light > Work Light > Flashing Light.
- To Turn Off: Press the magnetic switch once more after cycling through all modes, or hold the switch for approximately 2 seconds from any mode.
The precision lens ensures ideal and homogeneous light distribution across all modes.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the lamp's exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the housing or seals. Ensure the lens is clean for optimal light output.
6.2 Battery Replacement
Replace all four AA batteries simultaneously when the light output diminishes significantly. Refer to Section 4.1 for battery installation instructions. Always dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
6.3 Storage
If the lamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion. Store the lamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
