5. Setup and Installation

The Schellenberg Smart Drive garage door opener is 90% pre-assembled for quick and easy installation. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Prepare the Garage Door: Ensure your garage door operates smoothly manually and is properly balanced. Lubricate any moving parts if necessary.
  2. Mount the Rail System: Attach the rail sections together. Securely mount the rail system to the ceiling of your garage, centered above the garage door opening. The rail should extend towards the back of the garage.

  4. Attach the Motor Unit: Connect the motor unit to the rail system. The motor unit typically sits at the end of the rail closest to the garage door opening.

6. Operating Instructions

6.2 Emergency Release
