Maintenance and Cleaning

To ensure the longevity of your Play-Doh Noodle Makin' Mania set and prevent compound from hardening in the tools:

  • Remove Excess Play-Doh: After each use, remove as much Play-Doh compound as possible from the noodle maker and accessories.
  • Air Dry: Allow any remaining small pieces of Play-Doh to air dry completely. Once dry, they can often be easily scraped or brushed out.
  • Use a Tool: A small brush or toothpick can be helpful for removing dried compound from intricate molds and crevices.
  • Wipe Clean: Wipe down all plastic parts with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the noodle maker unit in water.
  • Store Properly: Store Play-Doh compound in its airtight containers to keep it soft and pliable.

Troubleshooting

  • Play-Doh is too hard: If the Play-Doh compound becomes too stiff, try kneading it with a few drops of water.
  • Play-Doh is stuck in the noodle maker: Ensure the compound is soft enough. If it's dried, allow it to dry completely and then use a small tool to dislodge it.
  • Noodles are not forming correctly: Check that the noodle disc is properly seated and secured. Ensure the Play-Doh compound is soft and evenly loaded.
