5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the radio's internal battery. 5.2 Antenna Adjustment

6.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control

To power on the unit, rotate the volume knob clockwise. To power off, rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks. Adjust the volume by rotating the same knob.

6.2 Mode Selection

6.3 FM Radio Operation

  1. Select the 'FM' mode using the selector switch.
  2. Extend the telescopic antenna.

6.4 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Select the 'BT' mode using the selector switch. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for available Bluetooth devices.
  3. Select 'FREESOUND-VR40B' from the list.
  4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now play audio from your device through the radio.

6.5 USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the USB port on the rear panel.
  2. Select the 'USB' mode using the selector switch.
  3. The unit will automatically begin playing audio files from the USB drive.

6.6 AUX Input

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, CD player) to the AUX input jack on the rear panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
  2. Select the 'AUX' mode using the selector switch.
  3. Play audio from your connected device.

7. Charging the Battery

The FREESOUND-VR40B is equipped with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-polymer battery. To charge, connect the supplied USB cable to the charging port on the rear of the unit and to a standard USB power adapter (5V DC, not supplied) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
