1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of the Paw Patrol Skye & Zuma's Lighthouse Rescue Track Set. This set allows users to recreate rescue missions featuring Zuma's Hovercraft vehicle and a Skye mini-figure. The lighthouse includes a light-up feature and a spinning mechanism for Skye.

For optimal performance and safety, please read all instructions carefully before use. This product is recommended for ages 3 years and up.

2. Product Components

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your Paw Patrol Lighthouse Rescue Track Set:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all track pieces, the lighthouse, dock, figures, and vehicles from the packaging.
2. Assemble Track Base: Connect the main track pieces to form the base layout as shown in the diagram. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Attach Lighthouse: Securely attach the lighthouse structure to its designated spot on the track base.
4. Install Dock and Water Ramps: Connect the dock piece and the water ramp track pieces to complete the water rescue area.
5. Insert Wally Track Piece: Place the Wally track piece, with Wally the walrus in his net, into its designated slot on the track.
6. Battery Installation (Lighthouse):
   • Locate the battery compartment on the base of the lighthouse.
   • Using a small screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
   • Insert 3 LR44 (AG13) 1.5V button cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
   • Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
7. Place Figures and Vehicles: Position Skye mini-figure on the lighthouse arm and Zuma's Hovercraft at the starting ramp.

4. Operating Instructions

Engage in exciting rescue missions with your Paw Patrol track set:

1. Activate Lighthouse Light and Skye: Press the top of the lighthouse to activate its light. This action also causes Skye to spin around the lighthouse, simulating her flight as she searches for Wally.
2. Spot Wally: Once Wally the walrus is spotted in his net, prepare Zuma for rescue.
3. Launch Zuma's Hovercraft: Lift the ramp to launch Zuma's Hovercraft down the hill. The vehicle will travel along the track towards the water.
4. Rescue Wally: As Zuma's Hovercraft reaches the water section, it will hit a lever, triggering the release of Wally from his net.
5. Adjust Track for Direct Docking: The set features movable trees. Adjust these trees to switch the track path, allowing Zuma to go directly to the dock and into the water without triggering the Wally rescue mechanism.

5. Maintenance

Proper care will ensure the longevity of your track set:

• Cleaning: Wipe all surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse electronic components (lighthouse) in water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Battery Care: If the lighthouse light becomes dim or stops working, replace the LR44 batteries. Always use new batteries of the specified type. Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
• Storage: Store the track set in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your track set, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Lighthouse Light Not Working:
  • Ensure batteries are installed correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new LR44 batteries.
  • Check that the battery compartment cover is securely closed.
• Skye Not Spinning:
  • Verify that the lighthouse light is functioning, as Skye's spinning mechanism is linked to it.
  • Check for any obstructions around Skye's arm or the spinning mechanism.
• Zuma's Hovercraft Not Launching Smoothly:
  • Ensure the ramp is fully lifted before launching.
  • Check for any debris or obstructions on the track.
  • Verify that all track pieces are securely connected and aligned.
• Wally Not Releasing:
  • Confirm Zuma's Hovercraft is hitting the lever mechanism correctly.
  • Check for any obstructions preventing Wally's net from opening.
