The console is battery-powered (requires 2 AA batteries, not included). It will automatically turn on when you start pedaling or press any button. It will turn off automatically after a period of inactivity.

3.2. Resistance Adjustment
The BRX-85 features a magnetic braking system with 8 levels of manual resistance adjustment. Turn the resistance knob clockwise to increase resistance and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

3.3. Console Functions
The LCD console displays the following workout data:
- Distance: Total distance covered during the current workout.
- Time: Duration of the current workout.
- Calories: Estimated calories burned.
- Pulse: Heart rate reading from the hand pulse sensors.
- Speed: Current cycling speed.
- RPM: Revolutions Per Minute (pedal cadence).
- Recovery: Measures your heart rate recovery after exercise.
Use the "MODE", "SET", and "RESET" buttons on the console to navigate through display modes, set target values, and clear workout data.
3.4. Hand Pulse Sensors
Grip the hand pulse sensors on the handlebars firmly with both hands to measure your heart rate. Ensure your hands are clean and dry for an accurate reading.
