Setup Guide

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all included items are present: the K250 Coffee Maker, 4 K-Cup pods, a water filter handle, 2 water filters, and a bottle of descaling solution.
  2. Placement: Place the brewer on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance above the brewer for the lid to open fully.
  3. Water Reservoir: Remove the 40oz water reservoir from the side of the brewer. Wash it with warm, soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
  4. Water Filter Installation: If using the water filter, soak the filter cartridge in fresh water for 5 minutes. Insert the filter into the water filter handle and snap it into place. Place the assembled filter into the water reservoir.
  5. Filling the Reservoir: Fill the water reservoir with fresh, filtered water up to the MAX fill line. Place the reservoir back onto the brewer, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  6. Power Connection: Plug the brewer into a grounded outlet. The brewer will automatically begin heating the water.
  7. Initial Rinse Brew: Perform an initial rinse brew without a K-Cup pod. Lift and lower the handle, select a large brew size (e.g., 10 oz), and press the brew button. Discard the hot water. This primes the system and cleans the internal components.

  3. Pour the entire bottle of Keurig Descaling Solution into the water reservoir, then fill the empty bottle with water and pour it into the reservoir.
  4. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  5. Power on the brewer and initiate a series of hot water dispenses until the reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly and refill with fresh water. Repeat the hot water dispense process to rinse the brewer.

Water Filter Replacement:

Replace the water filter cartridge every 2 months or 60 tank refills for best results.

  1. Remove the old filter cartridge from the water filter handle.
  2. Insert a new filter cartridge after soaking it in fresh water for 5 minutes.
  3. Place the handle with the new filter back into the water reservoir.
