Operating Instructions

Basic Usage

Once paired, the keypad functions as a standard numeric input device. Use the number keys for numerical data entry, and the arithmetic operators (+, -, *, /) for calculations. The 'clear' key functions as a backspace or clear entry, and 'enter' confirms input.

Battery Life

A fully charged keypad can last up to 2 weeks with typical usage. Recharge the device when the battery indicator light signals low power.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the keypad, power it off and use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals.

Battery Care

For optimal battery longevity, avoid fully discharging the keypad frequently. If storing the keypad for an extended period, ensure it is partially charged (around 50%) and power it off.

Troubleshooting

  • Keypad not connecting or frequently disconnecting:
Ensure the keypad is charged and powered on. Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the keypad is within range. Try re-pairing the keypad by removing it from your device's Bluetooth list and following the pairing instructions again.
  • Keys not responding:
Check if the keypad is powered on and connected via Bluetooth. If the keypad is in sleep mode, press any key to wake it up. Ensure the battery is not depleted.
  • Keypad wobbles on surface:
Ensure the surface is flat and even. Check the rubber feet on the underside of the keypad for any damage or unevenness.
  • Input lag after waking from sleep:
This is a normal function to conserve battery. A brief delay is expected as the Bluetooth connection re-establishes.
