5.1. Attaching to Displays

  1. Prepare Displays: Lay your TVs face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Identify VESA Pattern: Locate the mounting holes on the back of each TV. Measure the horizontal and vertical distance between these holes to determine the VESA pattern. Ensure it is compatible with the MC-703 (200x200, 400x200, 300x300, 400x400, 600x400).
  3. Select Hardware: Choose the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the provided mounting accessories that fit your TV's VESA holes.
  4. Attach Mounting Plates: Securely attach one side of the MC-703 mounting head to the back of each TV using the selected hardware. Ensure the plates are centered and level. Do not overtighten.

5.2. Integrating with Ceiling Mount System

  1. Prepare Ceiling Mount: Ensure your ceiling plate and extension tube (not included with MC-703 head) are securely installed according to their respective instructions.
  2. Connect Mounting Head: Carefully lift the assembled TV/MC-703 unit and connect the central pole attachment point of the MC-703 to the extension tube. Follow the specific instructions of your ceiling pole system for secure attachment.
  3. Cable Management: Utilize the integrated cable management features to route display cables neatly through the mount and extension tube.

6. Operating Instructions

The MC-703 mounting head offers flexibility for optimal viewing angles.

6.1. Tilt Adjustment

The mount allows for a tilt range of +5° (upwards) to -12° (downwards). To adjust the tilt, loosen the tilt adjustment bolts on the side of the mounting plates, set the desired angle, and then securely retighten the bolts. Refer to Figure 4.1 for visual guidance on tilt range.

6.2. Rotation Adjustment

The entire mounting head can rotate 360° around the central ceiling pole. To adjust the rotation, carefully loosen the connection point to the extension tube, rotate the displays to the desired orientation, and then securely tighten the connection. Ensure cables are not strained during rotation.

6.3. Level Adjustment

A built-in level adjustment feature allows for fine-tuning of the display's horizontal alignment by ±5°. Consult the specific mechanism on your mount for this adjustment, typically involving small screws that allow for slight rotation of the VESA plate relative to the main frame. Use a spirit level to ensure perfect horizontal alignment.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Periodic Inspection: Regularly check all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Inspect for any signs of wear, corrosion, or damage.
  • Cable Management: Ensure cables are not pinched or stressed. Re-route if necessary.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Displays are not level: Use the built-in level adjustment feature to fine-tune the horizontal alignment. Ensure the ceiling plate and extension tube are also level.
  • Mount feels unstable: Double-check all fasteners to ensure they are securely tightened. Verify that the ceiling structure can support the weight. Do not exceed the maximum load capacity.
  • Difficulty adjusting tilt/rotation: Loosen the appropriate adjustment bolts slightly before attempting to move the displays. Retighten securely after adjustment.
