5.2. Cutting and Grinding Techniques

Always ensure proper ventilation and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves.

  • Grinding: Hold the grinder at an angle of approximately 15-30 degrees to the workpiece. Apply moderate pressure and move the tool smoothly across the surface.
  • Cutting: Hold the grinder perpendicular to the workpiece. Allow the disc to reach full speed before making contact. Apply light, consistent pressure and let the disc do the work. Avoid twisting or binding the disc in the cut.

The Automatic Speed Change technology will optimize the tool's performance by adjusting speed and torque based on the load, ensuring efficient material removal.
