2. Measure Opening Width: Measure the width of your shower opening at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest measurement for product selection.
3. Check for Plumb: Use a 4-foot level to check if your walls are perfectly vertical (plumb) and if your threshold is level. Walls that are out-of-plumb may require specific models or professional adjustment. The Essence model accommodates up to 1/4 inch for out-of-plumb walls.
4. Threshold Condition: Ensure the bottom corners of the shower opening where the walls meet the threshold are not curved or rounded.
