Setup and Installation
The Xprite G3 Diamond Series LED Tail Lights are designed for a straightforward plug-and-play installation on 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU models. No complex wiring or modifications are typically required.
- Prepare Your Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is turned off and the parking brake is engaged.
- Remove Factory Tail Lights:
Locate the two screws on the inside edge of your factory tail light assembly. Use an appropriate screwdriver to remove these screws. Gently pull the tail light assembly away from the vehicle body.

- Disconnect Wiring: Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the factory tail light. You may need to press a tab to release the connector.
- Connect New Tail Lights:
Take your new Xprite LED Tail Light. Connect the wiring harness from the vehicle to the corresponding connectors on the new LED tail light. Ensure a secure connection. If a load resistor is provided, follow its specific installation instructions, typically mounting it to a metal surface away from plastic components.

- Mount New Tail Lights: Align the new LED tail light assembly with the mounting holes on your vehicle. Gently push it into place. Reinstall the two screws removed earlier to secure the new tail light. Do not overtighten.
- Repeat for Other Side: Follow the same steps for the other tail light.
- Test Functionality: Once both tail lights are installed, turn on your vehicle and test all light functions: running lights, brake lights, turn signals (left and right), and reverse lights.
Operating Instructions
Your Xprite G3 Diamond Series LED Tail Lights operate automatically with your vehicle's existing lighting system. They feature distinct illumination patterns for various driving conditions:
- Running Lights: When your vehicle's headlights or parking lights are on, the red LEDs will illuminate at a lower intensity.
- Brake Lights: Pressing the brake pedal will cause the red LEDs to illuminate at a higher intensity for increased visibility.
- Turn Signals: Activating the left or right turn signal will cause the corresponding red LEDs to flash, indicating your intended turn.
- Reverse Lights: Shifting your vehicle into reverse will activate the bright white LEDs, providing clear illumination behind your vehicle.

- Cleaning: Clean the lens regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap solution to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the lens.
- Connection Check: Periodically inspect the wiring connections to ensure they remain secure and free from corrosion.
- Damage Inspection: Check the housing and lens for any signs of physical damage, such as cracks or impacts, which could compromise the waterproof seal.
