5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Yuwell YU600 oxygen concentrator:

1. Placement: Place the concentrator on a flat, stable surface, ensuring at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space around all sides for proper ventilation. Do not place it on soft furnishings or in enclosed spaces.
2. Humidifier Bottle:
   • Unscrew the humidifier bottle from its cap.
   • Fill the bottle with distilled or purified water up to the maximum fill line. Do not overfill.
   • Screw the cap back onto the bottle securely.
   • Attach the filled humidifier bottle to the designated port on the concentrator.

3. Nasal Cannula Connection: Connect one end of the nasal cannula to the oxygen outlet port on the humidifier bottle cap.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into the power inlet on the back of the concentrator, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

To operate your Yuwell YU600 oxygen concentrator:

1. Power On: Press the power button on the control panel. The device will start, and the LCD display will illuminate.
2. Adjust Flow Rate: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the oxygen flow rate between 1 and 3 LPM. The current flow rate will be displayed on the LCD.
3. Set Timer (Optional): Press the 'Timer' button to set the desired operating time (up to 30 minutes). The device will automatically shut off after the set time. If no timer is set, the device will operate continuously.
4. Oxygen Delivery: Place the nasal cannula comfortably in your nostrils. Breathe normally.
5. Power Off: To turn off the device, press the power button again.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your device.

• Cleaning the Humidifier Bottle:
  • Daily: Empty any remaining water and rinse the bottle with clean water. Refill with fresh distilled or purified water.
  • Weekly: Disassemble the humidifier bottle and wash all parts with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reassembling.
• Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the concentrator with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the device.
• Air Filter Cleaning/Replacement:
  • Check the air filter weekly. If it appears dirty or discolored, clean it.
  • Remove the air filter from its compartment.
  • Wash the filter with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out excess water.
  • Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use the device without a dry filter.
  • Replace the air filter every 6-12 months, or more frequently if used in a dusty environment.
