4. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heated blanket and controller(s) from the packaging.
2. Connect Controller: Locate the connector on the blanket. Firmly plug the controller cord into the blanket connector. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Position Blanket: Lay the blanket flat on your bed or desired surface. Ensure it is not bunched, folded, or tucked tightly.
4. Plug In: Plug the power cord from the controller into a standard 110V-120V @ 60Hz electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Beautyrest Heated Blanket features 20 heat settings and a 1-10 hour auto shut-off timer for personalized comfort.

1. Power On/Off: Press the power button on the controller to turn the blanket on or off.
2. Adjust Heat Settings: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select your desired heat level from 1 to 20.
3. Set Auto Shut-Off Timer: Use the timer button to cycle through the available auto shut-off times, from 1 to 10 hours. The blanket will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
4. Pre-Heat Function: The blanket features a 1-hour fast heating function to quickly warm your bed.
5. Dual Controls (Queen/King): For Queen and King sizes, two separate controllers allow individual temperature adjustments for each side of the bed.
6. Smart Home Compatibility: This blanket is compatible with smart outlets (sold separately) for voice control and advanced scheduling.

6. Care and Maintenance

2. Wash: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water.
3. Dry: Tumble dry on low heat. Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting the controller and using it.

If you experience issues with your heated blanket, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Light Blinking: If the controller light is blinking, unplug the blanket from the wall outlet and reconnect, ensuring the controller is properly connected to the blanket. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Blanket Not Heating Well: Ensure the blanket is powered on and set to the maximum heat level. Allow sufficient time for the blanket to heat up.
• Only Parts of Blanket Getting Warm: This is usually caused by bunched or pinched heating elements. Lay the blanket flat, untucked, and free from heavy objects. Straighten the heating wires as needed by gently running your fingers along the wire, paying special attention to areas where the wire bends or twists.
