Setup

1. Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. Connect the supplied USB recharging cable to the headset's charging port and to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator on the headset will show charging status.

  • Charging Time: Approximately 3 hours for a full charge.
  • Battery Life: Up to 6 hours of continuous use.

2. Connecting to a Device

The Logitech H800 offers two primary connection methods: the 2.4 GHz Nano Receiver and Bluetooth.

2.1. Using the 2.4 GHz Nano Receiver (for PC/Mac)

  1. Insert the Nano Receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Turn on the headset by sliding the power switch to the 'ON' position.
  3. The headset should automatically connect to the receiver. The LED indicator on the headset will turn solid blue when connected.
  4. Ensure the Logitech H800 is selected as the default audio input and output device in your computer's sound settings.

2.2. Using Bluetooth (for Smartphone/Tablet/PC)

  1. Turn on the headset.
  2. Slide the connection switch on the headset to the Bluetooth icon. The LED indicator will blink blue rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, or Bluetooth-enabled PC), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Logitech H800" from the list of found devices.
  5. Once paired, the LED indicator on the headset will turn solid blue.

Operating the Headset

Controls Overview

The headset features intuitive controls located on the right earcup.

  • Volume Up/Down: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust audio volume.
  • Microphone Mute: Press the microphone icon button to mute/unmute the microphone. An LED on the microphone arm indicates mute status.
  • Call Answer/End: Press the call button (phone icon) to answer or end calls when connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone.
  • Track Control: Use the forward/back buttons for media playback control (skip track, previous track).
  • Play/Pause: Press the play/pause button for media playback control.

Microphone Usage

The flexible, noise-canceling microphone can be positioned for optimal voice capture. When not in use, rotate the microphone arm upwards to discreetly hide it within the headband.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use, fold the headset for compact storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the headset regularly.

Troubleshooting
