Safety Information

  • Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 600 lbs (272 kg) for the entire cart. Distribute weight evenly.
  • Ensure all components are securely fastened before use.
  • Do not allow children to climb on or play with the cart.
  • Use caution when moving the cart, especially on uneven surfaces or when heavily loaded.
  • Lock casters when the cart is stationary to prevent accidental movement.

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Omega Wire Basket Shelf Cart.

Step 1: Attach Casters

  1. Screw each caster into the bottom of the four vertical posts. Ensure they are tightened securely.
  2. It is recommended to place the two locking casters on the same side of the cart for easier access.

Step 2: Install Shelf Sleeves

  1. Determine the desired height for your bottom basket shelf. The posts have grooves at 1-inch intervals for precise adjustment.
  2. Snap two plastic shelf sleeves around each post at the chosen height, ensuring the arrows on the sleeves point upwards and they are seated firmly in the grooves.

Step 3: Install Bottom Basket Shelf

  1. Carefully slide one wire basket shelf down over the posts, ensuring the corners of the basket rest securely on the installed plastic sleeves. Apply even pressure to all four corners until the basket is fully seated.

Step 4: Install Second Basket Shelf

  1. Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 for the second wire basket shelf, positioning it above the first at your desired height.

Step 5: Install Top Wire Shelf

  1. Repeat Step 2 for the top wire shelf, placing it at the uppermost position on the posts.
  2. Slide the wire shelf down onto the sleeves, ensuring it is level and secure.

Step 6: Attach Handle

  1. Attach the handle to the top of two adjacent posts using the provided clips or screws, depending on the handle design. Ensure it is firmly secured for safe maneuvering.

Operating Instructions

  • Loading: Distribute items evenly across the shelves and baskets. Place heavier items on lower shelves for stability.
  • Moving: Unlock the casters before moving the cart. Use the handle to push or pull the cart. Avoid sudden stops or turns when heavily loaded.
  • Stationary Use: Engage the locking casters when the cart is in its desired position to prevent unintended movement.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the chrome surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the finish.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all connections, especially the casters and shelf sleeves, to ensure they remain tight and secure.
  • Caster Care: Keep caster wheels free of debris to ensure smooth movement.

Troubleshooting
