4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Connecting to a Device

The MS100 features a versatile USB connector compatible with various devices:

For Windows/Mac PC:

  1. Connect the standard USB-A end of the microscope cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  2. Software Installation:
    • Download and install the recommended software (e.g., "Teslong Camera" or a compatible UVC camera application).
    • Once installed, launch the software.
    • In the software settings, select "Teslong Camera" or the appropriate device from the list of available cameras.
    • The live video feed should now be visible in the preview area.

For Android Smartphones/Tablets (OTG compatible, Android 4.4+):

  1. Ensure your Android device supports OTG (On-The-Go) functionality.
  2. Connect the appropriate Micro-USB or Type-C end of the microscope cable to your Android device.
  3. App Installation:
    • Download and install the "MScopes" app (or "Teslong Camera") from the Google Play Store.
    • Open the installed app.
    • Select "Endoscope USB" as the device type within the app.
    • The live video feed should appear in the preview area.

4.2 Assembling the Stand

Attach the microscope unit to the adjustable stand using the fixed bolt for stable observation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting Focus

To achieve a clear image, manually adjust the focus wheel on the microscope body. The focus range is 10mm to 500mm.

5.2 Adjusting LED Illumination

The microscope is equipped with 6 adjustable LEDs. Use the LED adjusting wheel on the USB cable to control the brightness, optimizing illumination for different inspection conditions.

5.3 Capturing Images and Videos

  • LEDs Not Working/Dim:
    • Rotate the LED adjusting wheel on the USB cable to increase brightness.
