Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your Philips LED Plug & Play Lamp:

Step 1: Power Off. Before beginning installation, ensure the power supply to the fixture is completely turned off at the circuit breaker.
Step 2: Remove Existing Bulb. Carefully remove the existing 4-pin CFL bulb from the fixture. Allow the old bulb to cool if it has been recently in use.
Step 3: Insert LED Lamp. Align the 4 pins of the Philips LED lamp with the G24q/GX24 socket in the fixture. Gently push the lamp into the socket until it is fully seated and secure.
Step 4: Verify Compatibility. This lamp is designed to work with existing CFL ballasts. If the lamp does not illuminate or flickers after installation, the ballast may be incompatible. Refer to the troubleshooting section for more details.
Step 5: Restore Power. Once the lamp is securely installed, restore power to the fixture at the circuit breaker.
