Setup Instructions
Assembly
- Insert the handle into the main body of the unit until it clicks securely into place.
- Ensure the clean water tank is properly seated on the back of the unit.
- Ensure the dirty water tank is properly seated on the front of the unit.
Filling the Clean Water Tank
- Remove the clean water tank from the back of the machine.
- Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the tank.
- Fill the tank with warm tap water up to the 'Water' fill line for the desired cleaning area (small or large).
- Add the BISSELL Multi-Surface Cleaning Formula up to the corresponding 'Formula' fill line.

Maintenance and Care
Emptying and Cleaning the Dirty Water Tank
- Turn off and unplug the machine.
- Remove the dirty water tank from the front of the machine.
- Carefully remove the filter and pour out the dirty water.
- Rinse the tank and filter thoroughly with water. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting.

After each use, place the CrossWave on the storage and cleaning tray. Fill the tray with water up to the indicated line. Run the machine for approximately 10-20 seconds to rinse the brush roll and internal components. This helps prevent odors and maintains performance.
