5. Setup

5.1 Placement

Proper placement is crucial for optimal sound performance and safety.

Stable Surface: Place the subwoofer on a flat, stable, and level surface capable of supporting its significant weight (approximately 120 lbs).
Ventilation: Ensure adequate space around the rear amplifier panel for proper ventilation to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
Room Acoustics: Experiment with placement within the room to achieve the best bass response. Corner placement often enhances bass, but can also lead to muddiness.
Pole Mount: If using the integrated pole mount for a satellite speaker, ensure the pole and speaker are securely seated and stable.

5.2 Connections

6.2 Bluetooth Connectivity

To connect a Bluetooth device:

Ensure the subwoofer is powered on.
Activate Bluetooth on your source device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
Search for available Bluetooth devices. The subwoofer should appear as "RCF Sub 8006-AS" or similar.
Select the subwoofer to pair. A confirmation sound or indicator light may signal a successful connection.
Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly to the subwoofer.

7. Maintenance
