Introduction

The BWT Aquameter LF (Low Flow) is designed to precisely monitor the volume of water that has passed through your water filter system. Setup and Installation

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove the BWT Aquameter LF control unit, flow sensor, and connecting cable from the packaging.
  2. Identify Flow Direction: The flow sensor has an arrow indicating the direction of water flow. Ensure this aligns with your water line.
  3. Connect Flow Sensor: Install the 3/8" flow sensor into the water line before your BWT water filter. Use appropriate plumbing fittings to ensure a secure, leak-free connection.

  4. Connect Control Unit: Plug the cable from the flow sensor into the designated port on the BWT Aquameter LF control unit.
  5. Mount Control Unit: Mount the control unit in a convenient location using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure the display is easily visible.

  6. Initial Programming:
    • Press and hold the "PROG." button to enter programming mode.
    • Use the "PROG." button to cycle through settings (e.g., total filter capacity in liters).
    • Use the "RESET" button to adjust the values for each setting.
    • Confirm settings by pressing "PROG." again or waiting for the unit to exit programming mode automatically.
    • Set the filter capacity according to your specific BWT filter model and local water hardness.
