Setup and Installation

- Initial Programming:
- Press and hold the "PROG." button to enter programming mode.
- Use the "PROG." button to cycle through settings (e.g., total filter capacity in liters).
- Use the "RESET" button to adjust the values for each setting.
- Confirm settings by pressing "PROG." again or waiting for the unit to exit programming mode automatically.
- Set the filter capacity according to your specific BWT filter model and local water hardness.
Operating Instructions
- Monitoring Water Volume: The LCD display continuously shows the remaining filter capacity in liters. As water flows through the filter, the displayed value decreases.
- Filter Replacement Indicator: When the displayed capacity reaches a low level or zero, it indicates that the water filter needs to be replaced. Refer to your specific BWT filter's documentation for recommended replacement intervals.
- Resetting the Meter: After replacing the water filter, press and hold the "RESET" button for at least 3 seconds to reset the meter to its programmed initial capacity. This action ensures accurate tracking for the new filter.
Maintenance
- Filter Replacement: Regularly replace your BWT water filter according to the manufacturer's recommendations or when the Aquameter LF indicates zero remaining capacity. This ensures continued water quality and system performance.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the Aquameter LF control unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: The Aquameter LF operates on internal batteries. If the display becomes dim or unresponsive, the batteries may need replacement. Consult a qualified technician or BWT support for battery replacement procedures.
