    • Ensure the two-piece stainless steel cutting blade and rubber gasket are correctly assembled and secured to the bottom of the container.
    • Place the container onto the motor base, ensuring it is seated firmly.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the blender into a grounded electrical outlet. Verify the voltage matches the blender's requirements (120V).

Operating Instructions

General Operation:

  1. Add Ingredients: Place desired ingredients into the 44 oz. co-polyester container. Do not overfill past the maximum fill line.
  2. Secure Lid: Place the lid firmly onto the container. The lid features a measuring cup insert that can be removed to add ingredients while blending.
  3. Select Speed: Use the toggle switch on the blender base to select the desired speed:
    • "LO" (Low): For lighter blending tasks.
    • "HI" (High): For more intensive blending, such as crushing ice or making frozen drinks.
  4. Start Blending: Move the toggle switch to "LO" or "HI" to begin blending.
  5. Stop Blending: Return the toggle switch to the "OFF" position to stop the blender.
  6. Adding Ingredients During Blending: If necessary, remove the measuring cup insert from the lid to add additional ingredients while the blender is operating. Replace the insert immediately after adding.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

  1. Disconnect Power: Always unplug the blender from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble Container:
    • Remove the container from the motor base.
    • Invert the container and unscrew the collar at the bottom.
    • Carefully remove the blade and gasket assembly. Exercise caution as blades are sharp.
    • Separate the rubber gasket from the blade.
  3. Wash Components:
    • The 44 oz. co-polyester container is dishwasher-safe.
    • Hand wash the blade assembly, gasket, and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
  5. Dry and Reassemble: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling. Reassemble the blade and gasket, then secure the collar onto the container.
