Controls and Display:

5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Plug the AC power adapter into the DC input jack on the back of the alarm clock.
- Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard AC 230V, 50Hz wall outlet.
- The display will light up, and the clock will be ready for initial setup.
5.2 Battery Backup Installation
The Majestic RS-137 uses a CR2032 lithium battery (3V) for backup power. This battery preserves time and alarm settings during a power outage.
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one CR2032 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting the Time
- Press and hold the 'Time Set' button (often combined with a tuning button) until the time display flashes.
- Use the 'Tuning/Time Set' buttons (e.g., < / > or + / -) to adjust the hour.
- Press 'Time Set' again to confirm the hour and move to minute adjustment.
- Use the 'Tuning/Time Set' buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press 'Time Set' one more time to save the current time.
6.2 Setting Alarms (Dual Alarm)
The RS-137 features two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
- Press and hold the 'Alarm 1' or 'Alarm 2' button until the alarm time display flashes.
- Use the 'Tuning/Time Set' buttons to adjust the desired alarm hour.
- Press the respective 'Alarm' button again to confirm the hour and move to minute adjustment.
- Use the 'Tuning/Time Set' buttons to adjust the desired alarm minutes.
- Press the 'Alarm' button again to select the alarm source (Buzzer or Radio).
- Press the 'Alarm' button one last time to save the alarm setting. The alarm icon will appear on the display.
- To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the 'Alarm 1' or 'Alarm 2' button briefly. The alarm icon will appear/disappear.
6.3 Radio Operation (PLL Radio)
- Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn on the radio.
- Use the 'Tuning/Time Set' buttons to manually tune to your desired radio station.
- To auto-scan for stations, press and hold the 'Tuning/Time Set' buttons.
- Storing Presets: Tune to a station, then press and hold the 'MEM/M+' button until a preset number flashes. Use 'Tuning/Time Set' to select the preset number, then press 'MEM/M+' again to save.
- Recalling Presets: Briefly press the 'MEM/M+' button to cycle through stored presets.
- Adjust the volume using the digital volume control buttons.
6.4 Time Projection Function
- Locate the 'PROJECTION' button (often near the projection lens). Press it to turn the time projection on or off.
- Adjust the angle of the projection lens to direct the time onto a wall or ceiling.
- Use the '180° FLIP' button to rotate the projected time for optimal viewing.
6.5 Snooze and Sleep Timer
- Snooze: When an alarm sounds, press the 'SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER' button to temporarily silence the alarm for a few minutes (default snooze time). The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
- Sleep Timer: While the radio is playing, press the 'SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER' button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep timer durations (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF). The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time.
6.6 Display Dimmer
Press the 'SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIMMER' button (when no alarm is sounding and the radio is off) to adjust the brightness level of the LCD display.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the CR2032 backup battery annually or when the time settings are lost during a power outage.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
