Operating Instructions

Controls Overview

The handlebar features the main controls for operating the scooter:

  • Power Switch: Turns the scooter on and off.
  • Speed Control Dial: Adjusts the maximum speed of the scooter.
  • Throttle Lever: Engages the motor for forward or reverse movement. Push forward for forward, pull back for reverse.
  • Battery Indicator: Displays the current battery charge level.
  • Horn Button: Activates the scooter's horn.
  • Free Wheel Release Switch: This switch disengages the motor, allowing the scooter to be pushed manually. Ensure this switch is in the "engaged" position for powered operation.

Driving the Scooter

  1. Ensure the Free Wheel Release Switch is in the "engaged" position.
  2. Turn on the power switch.
  3. Adjust the speed control dial to your desired speed setting. Start with a low speed until you are comfortable.
  4. Gently press the throttle lever to begin moving. Release the throttle to slow down or stop. The scooter uses electromagnetic brakes, which engage automatically when the throttle is released.
  5. Use the handlebar to steer.

Folding the Scooter for Transport

To fold the scooter for transport or storage, reverse the unfolding steps:

  1. Ensure the scooter is powered off.
  2. Remove any items from the basket (if installed).
  3. Lower the seat and fold down the armrests.
  4. Release the locking mechanisms that hold the scooter in its unfolded position.
  5. Gently fold the main body and handlebar stem until the scooter is in its compact form.
  6. Engage the locking mechanism to secure the scooter in the folded position.

The compact folded size makes it suitable for air travel and easy storage.
