Important Safety Information
WARNING:
- Stop using the crib when your child begins to climb out or reaches 35 inches (89 cm) in height or 35 lbs (15.9 kg) in weight, whichever comes first.
- Always ensure all hardware is securely tightened. Periodically check for loose hardware, damaged parts, or missing components.
- Do not use this crib if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact Babyletto for replacement parts. Do not substitute parts.
- Do not place the crib near windows where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
- Do not place items with a string or strap around a child's neck, such as pacifier clips or necklaces.
- Do not place the crib near any heat sources, windows, or electrical outlets.
- Use only a mattress that is at least 27.25 inches (69 cm) by 51.625 inches (131 cm) with a thickness not exceeding 6 inches (15 cm).
- Ensure the mattress fits snugly without gaps larger than 1 inch (2.5 cm) between the mattress and the crib sides.

Operating Instructions: Conversions
Adjusting Mattress Height
The crib features four adjustable mattress heights. Adjust the height as your child grows to ensure safety and ease of access.
- Highest Position: For newborns and infants who cannot push up on hands and knees.
- Lower Positions: Gradually lower the mattress as your child becomes more mobile, can sit up, or begins to stand.
To adjust the mattress height, remove the mattress, unscrew the mattress support from the side panels, reposition it to the desired height, and re-secure all hardware. Ensure all screws are tight before placing the mattress back.

Crib to Toddler Bed Conversion
When your child is ready to transition from a crib (typically between 18 months and 3 years), you can convert the crib into a toddler bed using the included conversion kit.
- Remove Front Rail: Carefully remove one of the long side rails of the crib.
- Install Toddler Rail: Attach the toddler bed conversion rail (included) to the crib frame using the provided hardware. Ensure it is securely fastened.
The toddler bed provides a lower barrier, allowing your child to get in and out independently while still offering a sense of security.

Toddler Bed to Daybed Conversion
Once your child is comfortable with the toddler bed, you can remove the toddler rail to create a daybed. This offers an open sleeping space while maintaining the crib's aesthetic.
- Remove Toddler Rail: Detach the toddler bed conversion rail from the crib frame.
The daybed configuration is suitable for older toddlers who no longer require a safety rail.
Daybed to Full-Size Bed Conversion
For a full-size bed conversion, an additional conversion kit (Model M5789) is required and sold separately. This allows the crib to grow with your child into their teen years.
- Acquire Full-Size Conversion Kit: Purchase the Babyletto Full-Size Bed Conversion Kit (Model M5789).
- Disassemble Daybed: Carefully disassemble the daybed frame.
- Assemble Full-Size Bed: Follow the instructions provided with the full-size conversion kit to attach the headboard and footboard (from the original crib) to the new bed rails.
