3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Attaching the Mop Head and Handle

1. Insert the handle into the main body of the steam mop until it clicks securely into place.
2. Attach the mop head to the main body by aligning the connection points and pushing until it locks.

3.2 Attaching the Cleaning Pad

Place the cleaning pad on the floor with the hook-and-loop fasteners facing upwards. Position the mop head directly over the pad and press down firmly to secure it.

3.3 Filling the Water Tank

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Remove the water tank from the main unit.
3. Open the water tank cap and fill with clean tap water. The tank capacity is 350 milliliters.
4. Close the cap securely and reinsert the water tank into the appliance until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Preparing for Use

1. Ensure the water tank is filled and a cleaning pad is attached.
2. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. The steam mop is ready to use in approximately 20-30 seconds.

4.2 Floor Cleaning (Steam Mop Mode)

1. Select Floor Type: Use the AutoSelect Technology dial or button (if present) to choose your floor type (e.g., tile, wood, vinyl). This adjusts the steam output for optimal cleaning and drying time.
2. Activate Steam: Press the steam activation button.
3. Begin Cleaning: Move the steam mop slowly and steadily over the sealed floor surface. The swivel steering allows for easy navigation around obstacles.
4. For stubborn stains, hold the mop over the area for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate.

4.3 Using the Detachable Handheld Steam Cleaner

1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged.
2. Press the release button to detach the handheld unit from the main body.
3. Attach the desired accessory (e.g., brush, nozzle) to the handheld unit.
4. Plug in the appliance and wait for it to heat up.
5. Direct the steam towards the surface to be cleaned. Use caution as steam is hot.
6. After use, allow the unit to cool before reattaching it to the main steam mop body.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Pads

The cleaning pads are machine washable. Remove them from the mop head after each use and wash according to the care instructions on the pad label. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.

5.2 Water Tank and Limescale Protection

The appliance features an in-built water filtering system designed to protect against limescale buildup. To maintain optimal performance, regularly empty any remaining water from the tank after each use. If you live in an area with very hard water, consider using distilled or demineralized water to prolong the life of the appliance.

5.3 Storage

After use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely. Empty the water tank. Store the steam mop in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children.
