Operating Instructions

Six-Button Layout

The controller features a classic six-button face layout, optimized for fighting games. These buttons correspond to standard PlayStation face buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square) and two additional buttons (R1, R2) positioned for easy access.

D-Pad Function Toggle

The D-Pad can be toggled to function as a standard D-Pad, Left Analog Stick (LS), or Right Analog Stick (RS). Use the 'DP LS RS' switch located near the PlayStation button to select your preferred input mode.

Turbo Function

Activate the Turbo function for rapid, repeated button presses. Press the 'TURBO' button, then press the desired face button (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square, R1, R2) to apply Turbo. Press 'TURBO' and the button again to deactivate.

Shoulder Button Mapping

The controller includes a toggle switch on the top edge to remap the shoulder buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2) to L3/R3. This allows for flexible control schemes, particularly useful in fighting games where specific button combinations are critical.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the controller. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
  • Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid coiling the cable too tightly to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

  • Controller Not Responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the controller and the console/PC. Verify the platform switch is set to the correct position.
  • Buttons Not Working: Check if the Turbo function is accidentally activated for the affected button. If issues persist, try connecting the controller to a different USB port or another compatible device to isolate the problem.
  • D-Pad Input Issues: Confirm the 'DP LS RS' switch is set to the desired D-Pad mode.
