Charging the Batteries
The Dogtra 200C system utilizes long-lasting rechargeable batteries. Both the transmitter and receiver can be fully charged in approximately 2 hours using the provided battery charger and splitter cable.
Turning On/Off the Receiver
To turn the receiver (collar unit) on or off, align the red magnetic dots on the receiver and the transmitter. Hold them together for a moment until the LED indicator light on the receiver blinks green (on) or red (off).

Fitting the Collar
Proper fit of the collar is crucial for effective and safe operation. Ensure the contact points on the receiver make direct contact with your dog's skin. The collar should be snug enough to prevent movement but not so tight as to restrict breathing. The collar strap can be cut short as needed after proper fitting.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Regular cleaning of the Biothane strap and receiver unit is recommended. Use mild soap and water to clean the strap. Ensure the charging port is sealed with the rubber plug when not charging to maintain waterproofing.
Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid overcharging and completely draining the batteries. Store the unit in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Dogtra 200C E-Collar, please refer to the following general troubleshooting tips:
- No Power: Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are fully charged. Verify that the receiver is properly turned on using the magnetic dots.
- No Stimulation/Vibration: Check that the contact points on the receiver are making proper contact with your dog's skin. Adjust the collar fit if necessary. Ensure the Rheostat Dial on the transmitter is set to an appropriate level (above 0).
- Reduced Range: Environmental factors such as terrain, weather, and electromagnetic interference can affect range. Ensure the antenna on the transmitter is not obstructed.
- Collar Damage: Inspect the collar strap and receiver unit for any visible damage. If the plastic part connecting the collar to the receiver is broken, it may affect functionality and require replacement.
