  3. Inserting Backdrops

Choose one of the four provided vinyl backdrops (Blue, White, Gray, or Black). The backdrops have Velcro tabs on two corners. Align these tabs with the corresponding Velcro inside the studio at the top rear. Allow the backdrop to drape down to create a seamless background for your product.

  4. Using the Diffuser

A diffuser panel is included to soften the light from the LEDs and reduce harsh shadows. Attach the diffuser panel inside the studio, below the LED lights, using its Velcro strips. This will create a more even and flattering light for your subjects.

Operation

  1. Adjusting LED Brightness

The power supply includes a dimmer switch. Use this switch to adjust the intensity of the LED lights to suit your photography needs. Rotate the dial to increase or decrease brightness.

  2. Choosing Backdrops

Experiment with the different colored backdrops to find the best contrast and aesthetic for your product. White is ideal for clean, minimalist shots, while black can create dramatic effects. Blue and gray offer versatile alternatives.

  3. Shooting Angles

The studio features multiple openings for versatile shooting:

    • Front Opening: The main front flap can be opened to shoot directly at your product.
    • Top Opening: A flap on the top allows for overhead shots, useful for flat-lay photography or capturing the top view of items.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the studio with a soft, damp cloth. For the vinyl backdrops, use a mild soap solution if necessary, and dry thoroughly before storage.
  • Storage: When not in use, fold the studio back into its compact carrying case. Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
  • Backdrop Care: To prevent creases, roll the backdrops for storage rather than folding them tightly.

Troubleshooting

  • Lights Not Turning On:
    • Ensure the power cord and power supply are securely connected to both the studio and the electrical outlet.
    • Check if the dimmer switch is turned up sufficiently.
    • Verify the electrical outlet is functional.
  • Uneven Lighting/Harsh Shadows:
    • Ensure the diffuser panel is correctly installed.
    • Adjust the position of your product within the studio.
    • Increase the LED brightness using the dimmer.
  • Backdrops Not Lying Flat:
    • Allow new backdrops to unroll and flatten for some time before use.
    • Ensure the Velcro tabs are securely fastened.
