Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective film.
- Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit, especially at the sides and back where air vents are located. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Stabilize Refrigerant: After transport, allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 30 minutes before plugging it into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle properly, ensuring optimal performance.
- Clean: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker, including the water reservoir and ice basket, with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
- Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the maximum fill line. Do not overfill.
- Connect Power: Plug the ice maker into a grounded 115V/60Hz electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the Power Button on the control panel. The "WORK" indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the ice-making process has begun.
- First Batch: The first batch of ice may take slightly longer to produce. Subsequent cycles will be faster. The unit produces 9 bullet-shaped ice cubes per cycle, with each cycle lasting approximately 6 minutes.
- Monitor Indicators:
- "ADD WATER" Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate. Add more potable water to the reservoir up to the maximum fill line. The ice maker will automatically resume operation after water is added.
- "ICE FULL" Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will illuminate, and the ice maker will pause operation. Remove the ice from the basket to allow the unit to resume ice production.
- "WORK" Indicator: This light indicates that the ice maker is actively producing ice.
- Ice Storage: The integrated storage bin is insulated but not a freezer. Ice will gradually melt if left in the bin for extended periods. For long-term storage, transfer ice to a freezer.
- Power Off: To stop the ice-making process, press the Power Button again. The "WORK" indicator light will turn off.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker.
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, or at least daily, empty any remaining water from the reservoir and wipe the interior with a soft, clean cloth.
- Weekly Cleaning:
- Unplug the unit.
- Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm water and a mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Clean the water reservoir and ice-making components with a solution of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) or a mild, food-safe cleaning solution.
- Use a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub any mineral deposits or residue.
- Rinse the interior thoroughly with clean water several times to remove any cleaning solution residue. Drain all water.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
