3. Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
- Position the Washer: Place the washer basin on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for comfortable operation.
- Insert Brushes and Rollers: The microfiber brushes and adjustable rollers should be pre-installed or easily inserted into their designated slots within the basin. Ensure they are securely in place.
- Prepare Cleaning Solution: Fill the washer basin with distilled water up to the indicated fill line. Add 3-4 drops of the provided CleanIt Solution to the distilled water.
4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to clean your vinyl records:
- Adjust Rollers: Adjust the roller system to accommodate your record size (33, 45, or 78 RPM). The rollers slide to fit different record diameters.
- Insert Record: Carefully place the record into the cleaning system, ensuring it rests on the rollers and is positioned between the dual microfiber brushes.
- Rotate Record: Gently rotate the record manually. Spin it 3 times clockwise and 3 times counter-clockwise. The dual microfiber brushes will simultaneously clean both sides of the record, reaching deep into the grooves.
- Remove and Dry: Carefully lift the record out of the basin. Use one of the provided washable drying cloths to gently wipe the record dry. Ensure the record is completely dry to prevent water spots.
- Repeat for Other Records: Repeat the process for additional records. If cleaning many records, consider replacing the cleaning solution after approximately 20-30 records or when it appears visibly dirty.

5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and effectiveness of your cleaning system:
- Cleaning the Brushes: The microfiber brushes can be removed and washed with mild soap and water. Allow them to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Drying Cloths: The included drying cloths are washable and reusable. Wash them regularly to maintain their absorbency and prevent residue transfer.
- Emptying the Basin: After each cleaning session, or when the solution becomes visibly dirty, empty the basin and rinse it with clean water. Allow it to air dry.
- Storing Solution: If you wish to reuse the cleaning solution for a short period, ensure the lid is securely placed on the basin to minimize evaporation and contamination.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your cleaning system, consider the following:
- Water Spots on Records: Ensure records are thoroughly dried immediately after cleaning. Do not rush the drying process. Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
- Ineffective Cleaning: Ensure you are using distilled water and the correct amount of CleanIt Solution. Replace the solution if it is visibly dirty. Ensure brushes are clean and properly positioned.
- Rollers Not Functioning Smoothly: Check if any debris is obstructing the rollers. Clean the rollers and their housing. If the rubber gaskets on the rollers wear out, they may need replacement or adjustment.
- Solution Leakage: Inspect the basin for any cracks or loose seals. Ensure the lid is properly seated when storing the solution.
