Setup

Your ZOJE Industrial Sewing Machine may arrive either fully assembled or requiring assembly of the table and frame. Follow the instructions below based on your delivery configuration.

1. Unpacking and Assembly (if required)

Carefully unpack all components. If the machine, table, and frame were delivered unassembled, refer to the separate assembly guide for the table and frame. Ensure all connections are secure and stable before proceeding.

2. Power Connection

Connect the power cord to a suitable electrical outlet. The machine features an integrated AC servomotor, which is highly efficient and quiet. Ensure the power switch is in the "off" position before connecting.

3. Initial Lubrication

The machine is equipped with a central lubrication system. Before first use, and periodically thereafter, ensure the oil reservoir is filled to the recommended level. Consult the oil level indicator for proper filling. Proper lubrication is crucial for the longevity and smooth operation of the machine.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

To power on the machine, flip the main power switch located on the control panel. The integrated servomotor will activate silently. To power off, flip the switch back to the "off" position.

2. Threading the Machine

Follow the threading path indicated on the machine. Ensure the thread is correctly seated in all tension discs and guides. Proper threading is essential for consistent stitch quality.

3. Needle Selection and Installation

This machine uses needle system 134-35 / 135 x 17. Select the appropriate needle size for your fabric type and thread. To install a new needle, loosen the needle clamp screw, insert the needle with the flat side facing away from you, and tighten the screw securely.

4. Adjusting Stitch Length

The maximum stitch length is 8.0 mm. Adjust the stitch length dial on the machine head to your desired setting. Longer stitches are generally suitable for heavier materials like leather, while shorter stitches are for finer work.

5. Material Handling and Double Transport

The ZOJE Industrial Sewing Machine features an under- and upper-transport (walking foot) system, ideal for handling heavy fabrics, leather, and upholstery without slippage. Place your material under the presser foot. The foot ventilation is 16 mm, allowing for thick materials.

6. Automatic Needle Positioning

Utilize the automatic needle positioning feature for precise control over your stitching. This function allows the needle to stop in either the up or down position, facilitating corner turns and material manipulation.

7. Work Area Illumination

The integrated LED lighting illuminates the work field, providing clear visibility for detailed sewing tasks.

8. Sewing Speed

The machine has a maximum sewing speed of 2000 stitches/min. Adjust the speed according to your comfort level and the complexity of the task.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ZOJE Industrial Sewing Machine.

1. Lubrication

Periodically check the oil level in the central lubrication system and refill as necessary with recommended sewing machine oil. Refer to the machine's oil level indicator. Proper lubrication prevents wear on moving parts.
