Setup

  1. Unfold the game board and place it on a flat playing surface.
  2. Each player chooses a plastic token and places it on the 'GO' space.
  3. Separate the money by denomination and give each player their starting cash as specified in the game guide (refer to the included physical game guide for exact amounts).
  4. Place the houses and hotels in their designated areas on the board.
  5. Place the dice next to the board.
  6. Ensure the Chance Spinner is ready for use in the center of the board.

How to Play

Monopoly Jackpot introduces a unique spinning mechanic to the traditional game. The core objective remains to buy, rent, and sell properties to become the wealthiest player and bankrupt opponents. However, the Jackpot spinner adds an element of chance that can quickly change fortunes.

Game Objective

Be the last player remaining with money when all other players have gone bankrupt.

Player Turn

  1. Roll the dice and move your token clockwise around the board the corresponding number of spaces.
  2. Follow the instructions on the space you land on (e.g., buy property, pay rent, draw a Chance card, go to Jail).
  3. If you land on a 'Spin' space or are instructed to spin, push down the central Chance Spinner and follow the outcome (e.g., 'Pay Jackpot', 'Collect from Jackpot', 'Pass Left', 'Pay Out').
  4. If you pass 'GO', collect your salary as usual.

Winning the Jackpot

The central spinner is key to the Jackpot edition. Landing on specific spaces or drawing certain Chance cards may allow you to spin the wheel. Outcomes can include winning the entire Jackpot, paying into it, or other actions that affect your cash or properties.
