4. Setup and Assembly

1. Placement: Place the compressor nebulizer unit on a flat, stable surface, ensuring the air vents are not obstructed.
2. Connect Air Tube: Connect one end of the air tube to the air outlet connector on the compressor unit.

3. Prepare Medication Cup: Open the medication cup (nebulizer kit) and pour the prescribed amount of medication into it. Close the medication cup securely.
4. Connect Medication Cup: Connect the other end of the air tube to the bottom of the medication cup.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Positioning: Sit upright and comfortably.
2. Start Treatment: Turn on the nebulizer unit using the power switch. The compressor will start, and a fine mist will begin to emerge from the mouthpiece or mask.
3. Inhale Medication:
   • Using a Mouthpiece: Place the mouthpiece between your teeth and seal your lips around it. Breathe in slowly and deeply through your mouth until all medication is nebulized.
   • Using a Mask: Place the mask over your nose and mouth, ensuring a snug fit. Breathe normally and deeply until all medication is nebulized.

4. End Treatment: Continue treatment until the medication cup is empty or the mist stops forming. This usually takes 5-10 minutes, depending on the medication and dosage.
5. Turn Off: Turn off the nebulizer unit and unplug it from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential for the proper functioning and longevity of your nebulizer.

6.1. Cleaning After Each Use

1. Disconnect the air tube, medication cup, mouthpiece/mask from the compressor unit.
2. Disassemble the medication cup.

For disinfection, follow your physician's or manufacturer's recommendations. A common method is to soak the cleaned parts (excluding the air tube and compressor unit) in a solution of one part white vinegar to two parts distilled water for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and air dry.

Wipe the exterior of the compressor unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or spray liquids directly onto it.

6.4. Air Filter Replacement
