1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient use of the DJI Phantom 4 Series Battery Charging Hub. This device is designed to charge and maintain Intelligent Flight Batteries for the Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Pro, and Phantom 4 Advanced drones. It supports charging up to three batteries sequentially and features a Storage Mode to optimize battery longevity.
2. Safety Guidelines
Adhere to the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the product or personal injury:
- Use only with compatible DJI Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Batteries and the official Phantom 4 Battery Charger.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the charging hub.
- Keep the device away from water, moisture, and high temperatures.
- Ensure adequate ventilation during operation to prevent overheating.
- Supervise the charging process and disconnect the power when not in use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
3. Product Overview
The DJI Phantom 4 Series Battery Charging Hub allows for efficient management of multiple Intelligent Flight Batteries. It features three battery slots and a mode switch for charging or storage.

The hub is designed to be compact and integrates seamlessly with your existing Phantom 4 battery charger.
4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your charging hub:
- Connect the Charger: Plug your official DJI Phantom 4 Battery Charger into the input port of the Charging Hub.
- Connect to Power: Plug the Phantom 4 Battery Charger into a suitable power outlet.
- Insert Batteries: Insert up to three Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Batteries into the designated slots on the Charging Hub. Ensure they are securely seated.

5. Operation
The Charging Hub offers two primary modes: Charging and Storage.
5.1. Selecting a Mode
Use the switch located on the side of the charging hub to select between 'CHARGING' and 'STORAGE' modes.

Figure 3: Side view of the charging hub, highlighting the 'CHARGING' and 'STORAGE' mode switch.
5.2. Charging Mode
When set to 'CHARGING', the hub will charge the inserted Intelligent Flight Batteries sequentially. Batteries with higher power levels will be charged first, followed by those with lower levels. This optimizes charging time by prioritizing batteries closer to full capacity.
- Insert batteries into the slots.
- Set the switch to 'CHARGING'.
- The LED indicators on the batteries will show their charging status.
- Once all batteries are fully charged, the hub will cease charging.
5.3. Storage Mode
When set to 'STORAGE', the hub will adjust the charge level of the inserted Intelligent Flight Batteries to approximately 50%. This is the optimal charge level for long-term storage, helping to preserve battery health and extend their lifespan.
- Insert batteries into the slots.
- Set the switch to 'STORAGE'.
- The hub will either charge or discharge the batteries until they reach approximately 50% capacity.
- Once the optimal storage charge is reached, the hub will stop the process.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your charging hub:
- Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the hub. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the charging hub in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the charging hub and its cables for any signs of damage or wear. Discontinue use if damage is observed.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your charging hub, refer to the following common solutions:
- Hub not powering on: Ensure the Phantom 4 Battery Charger is correctly connected to the hub and a working power outlet.
- Batteries not charging: Verify that batteries are properly seated in their slots. Check the mode switch is set to 'CHARGING'. Ensure the Phantom 4 Battery Charger is functioning correctly.
- Slow charging: Charging speed can be affected by battery condition and ambient temperature. Ensure proper ventilation.
- Storage mode not working: Confirm the switch is set to 'STORAGE'. The process may take time depending on the initial charge level of the batteries.
