Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or transport. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage.
2. Placement: Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the area where moisture reduction is desired. Ensure there is at least 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) of clear space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow. Do not block the air inlet or outlet.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications listed on the unit's rating label.
4. Water Tank Installation: Ensure the water collection tank is correctly inserted into the unit. For continuous drainage, connect a suitable hose (not included) to the continuous drainage port and direct it to a floor drain or larger container.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel:

The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features an LCD display and various buttons for operation.

• Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Mode Button: Select desired operating mode (e.g., continuous, auto, fan only).
• Humidity Setting Buttons: Use '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired humidity level (e.g., 40%, 50%, 60%). The unit will operate until this level is reached.
• Timer Button: Press to set the programmable shutdown timer. Use '+' and '-' to adjust the hours.
• Display: The LCD display shows current room humidity, temperature, and selected settings.

Initial Operation:

1. Plug in the dehumidifier.
2. Press the Power button to turn the unit on.
3. Set your desired humidity level using the humidity setting buttons. A lower percentage means more moisture will be removed.
4. The unit will begin to operate. The fan will run, and the compressor will engage to remove moisture.

Water Tank Full Indicator:

When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and an indicator light or message will appear on the display. Empty the tank and reinsert it correctly for operation to resume.

Continuous Drainage:

For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, connect a standard garden hose (or similar) to the drainage outlet at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage to a suitable drain.

Cleaning the Air Filter:

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

1. Turn off the dehumidifier and unplug it from the power outlet.
2. Locate and remove the air filter (usually at the back or side of the unit). Refer to the diagram in your physical manual if unsure.
3. Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. For heavily soiled filters, wash gently with warm, soapy water.
4. Rinse the filter thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting. Do not operate the unit without the filter or with a wet filter.

Emptying the Water Tank:

When the tank full indicator illuminates, carefully remove the water tank from the unit. Empty the collected water and slide the tank back into its position until it clicks securely.

Cleaning the Unit Exterior:

Wipe the exterior of the dehumidifier with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive water, as this can damage the unit.
