Maintenance
- Cleaning Probes: Always clean the stainless steel probes thoroughly after each use with hot soapy water. Do not immerse the probe connectors or the main unit in water.
- Unit Cleaning: Wipe the transmitter and receiver units with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Storage: Store the thermometer and probes in a dry place when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
- Probe Care: Avoid bending or kinking the probe wires excessively, as this can damage the internal wiring. The probe wires can withstand temperatures up to 716°F (380°C).

Troubleshooting
- No Signal/Connection Issues:
- Ensure both transmitter and receiver units are turned on and have fresh batteries.
- Verify that the probes are securely plugged into the transmitter.
- Move the receiver closer to the transmitter to check if the signal improves. Large metal objects or thick walls can interfere with the signal.
- Inaccurate Temperature Readings:
- Ensure the probe tip is inserted into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone or gristle.
- Check if the probe wire is damaged. If so, replacement probes may be needed.
- Calibrate the thermometer if an option is available (refer to the full PDF manual for specific calibration steps if needed).
- Display Not Working:
- Replace batteries in both units.
- Ensure battery contacts are clean and free of corrosion.
