Operating Instructions

Operating your TecTake Retractable Windscreen is simple and intuitive.

Extending the Windscreen:

  1. Grasp the ergonomic handle firmly.
  2. Gently pull the fabric horizontally outwards from the main housing. The automatic spring mechanism will allow for smooth extension.
  3. Continue pulling until the handle reaches the receiving post.
  4. Align the handle with the locking mechanism on the receiving post and push it down to secure the fabric in place. Ensure it is firmly locked to prevent accidental retraction.

Retracting the Windscreen:

  1. Unlock the handle from the receiving post by lifting it slightly and disengaging the locking pin.
  2. Slowly guide the handle back towards the main housing. The automatic winding mechanism will retract the fabric smoothly. Do not release the handle abruptly, as this could cause damage or injury.
  3. Once fully retracted, the fabric will be neatly stored within the main housing.
