Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the internal battery using the AC power cable. Connect the AC power cable to the speaker's charging port and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.

Inserting Backup Batteries (Optional)

For extended use or as a backup, you can insert 4x AA batteries into the designated battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.

Connecting Solar Panel

To utilize solar charging, connect the solar panel cable to the speaker's solar input port. Place the solar panel in direct sunlight for optimal charging. The solar panel can provide continuous charging to extend battery life during outdoor use.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch on the unit. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to power on the speaker. The LED display will illuminate. To power off, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.

Mode Selection

Press the "MODE" button to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, SD Card, and AUX.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the WASPSOLAR100 speaker and select Bluetooth mode. The speaker will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or audible prompt.
  2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "WASPSOLAR100" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will confirm the connection, and you can begin streaming audio.

USB/SD Card Playback

Insert a USB flash drive or SD card (up to 64GB) containing .mp3 or .wav audio files into the respective port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB or SD card mode and begin playback. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) on the speaker to manage your music.

FM Radio Operation

  1. Switch the speaker to FM Radio mode.
  2. Extend the retractable antenna for better reception.
  3. Press the "SCAN" button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  4. Use the "Next/Previous Track" buttons to navigate through saved stations.

Microphone Use and Recording

Plug the included headset microphone into the 1/8" microphone input jack. Adjust the microphone volume as needed. To record, ensure a USB drive or SD card is inserted, then press the "REC" button. Press "REC" again to stop recording. Recordings will be saved to the inserted media.

Torch LED Light

The WASPSOLAR100 features a built-in LED torch light. Locate the dedicated power switch for the light and toggle it to turn the light on or off.
